So far I have done a few sketches of the exterior design of the Hobbit Burrows. We are keeping the circle-shaped doors as they were based from the Lyndey Park's ruins that might have been an inspiration for Tolkien. The build will have a "wild" look and have a lot of plants and trees. The Hobbit Burrows will be slightly hidden because of this over-growth of plants.
I haven't started building yet but have found a lovely spot to start building, a nice hill for the Hobbit Burrows and a river nearby for the bridge.
